Tanvir Sheikh elected as President FPCCI

Tanvir Ahmed Sheikh was elected unopposed, as the President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) in the recent AGM and elections of the Federation held in December 2006. Tanvir is from the 15th Entry (Omar Wing) and the first Abdalian to get this superlative honour of being the spokesman of the business community in Pakistan.
Tanvir Ahmed Sheikh, after his election said that the confidence reposed on the new office-bearers and Managing Committee has redoubled their responsibility and assured that he and his team would make all efforts to come up to the expectations of the business community. He said that with the conclusion of election all differences have ended and promised that he would take all the businessmen along and work for the improvement of the national economy.
