Ovais Mustafa promoted as Major General

Major General Ovais Mustafa, Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) joined Cadet College Hasanabdal in 1966 in 13th Entry, completing his Fsc in 1971. He was commissioned in the Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering of Pakistan Army in 1977.
He did his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Peshawar and MSc Engineering in Military Vehicle Technical from RMCS, UK. Gen Ovais is also a graduate of Command and Staff College and the National Defence College.
He was promoted to the rank of a Major General on 17th January, 2007 and is presently serving as Director General Inspection and Technical Development (ITD) in the General Headquarters.
