Asfandyar Bukhari gets Sword of Honour

Asfandyar Bukhari, Wing Commander Jinnah Wing 48th Entry, received Sword of Honor and War Tactics Medal at the passing out parade of 118th Long Course in Pakistan Military Academy 118 Long Course, Kakul. He was also holding the appointment of Battalion Sargeant Under Officer (BSUO) 1st Pak Battalion in PMA.

Asfandyar was from Jinnah Wing under whom the Wing lifted the Champion's Trophy. He was Vice Captain of college hockey team also played hockey in Punjab for the Under-19. He was also the college chess champion, member of college riding team, president of biology club, associate editor of college magazine, member of board of editors and writers for five years.

Currently Lt. Asfandyar Bukhari is serving in Bahawalpur.

Lt Bukhari gets a sword of honour and we hardly see any press report from the college iteself. They dont seem to feel proud of the glory this kid has brought to alma . except for a news posting we hardly see any such reecognition from either college of the Old boys association. Best thing would have been fr college to issue a national news item. Even small private schools notify new of their kids these days.

It is indeed a great honour for the college that Asfandyar has ot Sowrd of Honour, he was my entry mate and we all are proud of him. But the thing which I want to highlight here is that I am a Cadet in PMA now and the behaviour which i see of Abdalian Officers towards Abdalians Cadets is just shamefull I dont know what has gone wrong with the college. No one is caring towards othersIn short one feels disgusted and ashamed of being Abdalian in PMA now. Can any Senior Abdalian give me a satisfactory reply to this.
