Ijaz Ali Khan heads Pakistan Refinery Limited

Mr. Ijaz Ali Khan has been serving as the Managing Director & Chief Executive of Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) since June, 2008.  Mr. Khan is an Engineer by qualification and has extensive experience in the Oil Industry.  He initially joined Burmah Shell, Pakistan, and then left for Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 1973 to work for Aramco.  During Mr. Khan’s tenure in Aramco for over two decades, he worked in various professional and managerial capacities in Engineering, Planning and Operations.

He returned in 1997 to join Shell in Pakistan again and has held various senior positions during this tenure.  As General Manager Supply and Distribution for Shell, he was a senior member of both the Company Leadership Team and the ME/Asia Distribution Leadership Team.

When in Shell, he was also appointed Director on the Boards of Shell Pakistan, Pakistan Refinery Limited and Pak Arab Pipeline Company.

He belongs to the 5th entry, Jinnah Wing, and then later in Haider Wing, which were the two senior Wings in those days. He was the member of college Hockey Team, Cricket Team and Economics Club. He is an active member of HOBA-Sindh and attends the meetings regularly.
