Qasim Qureshi appointed High Commissioner

Maj. Gen. Qasim Qureshi (Retd) has been designated as the new High Commissioner for Sri Lanka. Gen. Qureshi belongs to the 14th Entry and was in Haider Wing. He has had a distinguished military career and is also a member of the Board of Governors of Cadet College Hasanabdal. He has also served as DG NAB Lahore and before retirement was posted in Joint Staff Headquarters.

He is expected to resume his office as High Commissioner by the end of February 2013.
