Major General Azhar Rashid's daughters (Rabia) wedding reception was held at the Pearl Continental Rawalpindi on 17th July 2009, drawing a large gathering of people from different walks of life. The guests included a large number of doctors and Abdalian friends from a cross section of entries. Not to mention that a good number of 14th Entry Abdalians, who happened to be Azhar's entrymates also particpated.
Gen. Azhar was serving as Commandant AFIC, prior to going off to a course at NDC Islamabad. He is now serving as Director General (Surgery) at GHQ Rawalpindi.
We all wish Rabia and Salman (the groom) a very happy and prosperous future.
