75% say NO to AGM's in Cadet College

A poll was conducted at Abdalians Alumni Home as a consequence of the new Principal, Maj. Gen. Najeeb Tariq's announcement at the last AGM on 17th February 2013, that HOBA will not be permitted to hold its AGM and Elections within the Cadet College premises in the future. The poll started at 10:51 am on 27 Feb'13 and ended at 1:30 am on 23 Mar'13.
The poll results showed a heavy vote (75%) in favour of "NO" which shows that the majority of the voters agreed with the Principals view that AGM and Elections should not be held within the premises of Cadet College Hasanabdal. 25% of the voters, however, did cast their vote in favour of "YES". The Annual Reunion shall however be allowed to be held, but visitors will have to contribute towards the cost of the lunch arrangements made by the College.
