HOBA struggling to build new web site

Hasanabdal Old Boy's Association (HOBA), "the only registerd and trustworthy representative of alumni" has been continuously trying for years now to develop a web site that is supposed to reflect the activities of the Association. In a yet another latest attempt to build a new site, it has outsourced it to ZN Web Designs, which is in the process of developing the site. The current look and feel is probably the fourth design change that has been done to the site in the last five years.

While more than half of the links to pages are not working, space has still been reserved for advertisements on the home page, for which advertisers are expected to pay. Under these circumstances, it is highly improbable that advertisers will come and place their advertisements on a site that has 90% broken links. It seems that HOBA's initiative to generate internet-based income will not pay out any dividends in the near future.

In the AGM held in January 2013, an Abdalian alumni, related to the IT field offered the HOBA Management to develop the web site free of cost and keeping in mind the new technologies available that will also help in maintaining the sites security. Apparently, this offer was not accepted by the HOBA Management, which decided to outsource it to ZN Web Designs.

The HOBA Management is requested to take serious measures to develop a professionally built web site, that disseminates the Abdalian activities across the globe in a timely manner. In the presence of quite a few worthy alumni who could be of immense help to HOBA to develop a basic web site, it is unfathomable as to why HOBA is so far behind in such a basic technology.
