Dear Abdalians
It is my pleasure to inform you that the Annual General Meeting of your Association will be held, Inshallah, on Sunday 27 Jan 2008. Detailed programme is attached. As the current Executive Committee is completing its two year term, elections for the new President, three members and Secretary General will also be held on the same day. All members present on the day, who have paid their dues, are eligible to vote.
All Abdalians desirous of contesting have been advised to contact the Secretary General latest by 20 Jan 2008. Nomination papers can be submitted on a plain paper duly proposed and seconded by members. In case of more than one candidate election will be held by splitting of the house as per Memorandum and Articles of Association.
I take this opportunity to request you to please make it convenient to attend. Also please pass it to your entry mates and friends in case they have not received it.
