Old Boy's get-together at Des Pardes Islamabad

Dinner at Des PardesOn 15 July 2011 a group of Old Boy's from CCH met at Des Pardes, an upbeat restaurant in Saidpur Village in Islamabad.  It was a potpourri of Abdalians from different entries which made the event memorable. The reunion was organized by Team Deventions (an event management company, owned by Mr. Sarfraz Kiyani, 43rd entry L/W). Invitations were given on facebook and around 30 abdalians ensured their presence at the dinner. All the boys were very excited to meet there mates after such a long time.

The day was Friday and the Abdalians were are all set to bash. They started reaching the venue in groups of old friends around 7 pm with a diversity of Abdalians ranging from the senior citizen, from 17th entry to the youngest from 49th. No one ever imagined that these entries will dine out together. Everyone shared their experiences of CCH, the stories of DEEDUM in the swimming pool, the beatings by Adjutant and Mr. Ramzan Rana (may his soul rest in peace), the ragging of the new batches, the last night studies, Saturday night movies, going to the hospital to skip PT and the Drill, cooking of housemasters chicken at night, to the adventures of going on Bunk and being caught while some came back safe, RESPECT!

In the end pictures were taken to save the memories and phone numbers were exchanged. Everybody left around 11pm with fresh memories of their teenage and a promise to rock it again very soon. All the young and old enjoyed music and had dinner. Maintaining the Abdalians tradition, dinner was started by Mr. Tariq O. Rehman (most senior) with a dua, in the Abdalians way, with all the boys starting to eat in the traditional Abdalians way. The most difficult job of the evening, as rightly guessed by all, was to collect the money from the Abdalians, which ofcouse everyone paid. The charges were Rs. 1,200 per person which was nothing compared to the laudable time everyone had.
