Computers and multimedia donated to CCH

The administration of Cadet College Hasanabdal is in the process of setting up a new language laboratory for the cadets. In this regard a valuable contribution has been made by Mr. M. Fahim Saddiqui, Dr. Amjad Riaz, Mr. Zahid Abbasi and Dr. Asif Mahmood Mattoo of 25th entry who presented 28 IBM Lenovo computers to be installed in the new laboratory, to the Principal, Maj. Gen. Najeeb Tariq.

Some Abdalians from the 14th Entry have also donated 23 Branded Dell Core 2 Duo used computers along with 23 new LED screen for Classrooms having Multimedia Projectors installed in them. The donors intend that their names should not be disclosed, but their action speaks of their love for the College. This donation will complement another donation made by another entry which will help Cadet College Hasanabdal to keep pace with the world of technology. Another valuable donation was made by Mr. Tariq Rahim Anwar and some of his other friends of 15th entry, who have donated 23 multimedia projectors and projecting screens each to the College.

The College administration is also investing in the back-end as well so that maximum benefit could be derived from installation of these computers. The College has enhanced its internet connectivity in the back-end raising it to 16 Mbps through a Wi-Fi coverage from the Computer Lab, and extended to the wings and residences of all faculty members within these summer vacations.
