Khurram Dastgir's mother passes away

It is with deep sorrow that we have learnt about the sad demise of Khurram Dastgir Khan's mother and wife of a former federal minister, Ghulam Dastgir Khan, on 14th December, 2008. Our prayers go out to Khurram and his family that may Allah give them the courage to bear this great loss and may He give the departed soul His choicest of places in Heavens. She was laid to rest at a local graveyard in Gujranwala on Monday. A large number of people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayers.
Khurram Dastagir is from the 29th Entry (Iqbal Wing) and is the Chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee for Commerce. He was elected to the NA in the last general elections held in February, 2008 from Gujranwala (NA-96).
