It is with deep sorrow that we have learnt of the sad demise of Zahid Javed Butt's son, Asim Butt, who passed away on 15th January 2010 in Karachi. Asim was only 31 years old. May Allah bless the departed soul and give him His choicest place in Heavens and give the parents and family the courage to bear this irreparable loss.
Zahid Javed belongs to the 9th Entry and was from the same entry as Brig. Hasan Shah, S. M. Awais and Brig. Saleem. He used to work for PIA until a little while back and now resides in Karachi.
