Prof. Ayub Shah passes away

It is with deep regret that we have learnt of the sad demise of Prof. Ayub Shah. He was a retired faculty member and used to teach Technical Drawing to cadets who were in the Pre-Engg group. His namaz-e-janaza was offered in Wah Cantt on 26-Apr-2010.

We pray to Allah Almighty to bless his soul and give him a heavenly abode and give his family the courage to bear this irraparable loss.

We will appreciate if anyone has Prof. Ayub Shah's picture and contact details of his son, which could be published here.

Prof Ayoub did not teach me at HasanAbdal but had probably joined during my presence. Prir joining HasanAbdal, he was my teacher at his earlier assignment at Peshawar - CPSP (1963 - 1965). He was an excellent teacher, a good guide and a friend of all students. We in Peshawar, used to call him Chote Shah Sb. for we had another teacher who was also Shah Sb. but was very tall. Mr. Mahffoz may have a link to the contacts for his son. Our prayers for the departed soul and the family.
