According to the official website of Abdalians Association (HOBA) the amendments in the Memorandum & Articles of Association stand approved and thus adopted. The announcement was published by the Secretary General on the home page of the official website.

Two meetings were held in the Liaison Office of HOBA in Islamabad on 4th and 9th December 2009 respectively where members were invited to vote for the change. Earlier, a meeting in Peshawar and a subsequent one in Lahore, were also held for members to vote. It is interesting to note that this website ran a poll on whether the HOBA byelaws should be put to the AGM at the re-union or the Special Meeting for adoption of amendments. The first vote was polled on 24th Nov '09 and the last vote was polled on 16th Dec '09, with a total of 38 (thirty eight) votes polled. A vast majority comprising of 94.7% of the voters said that the changes should be amended in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which coincides with the annual reunion.
