It is with deep regret that we learnt yesterday of the sad demise of Mr. Zafar Habib, a senior Abdalian from the 1st Entry. Mr. Habib was a retired civil servant and had served on ambassadorial assignments as well. He along with his wife and daughter were among the delegates to India to attend Mr. Catchpole's centenary celebraions. His namaz-e-janaza was held at N-Block, DHA, Lahore on 22-Dec-2009.

We pray to Allah Almighty to bless his soul and give him heavenly abode and give his family the courage to bear this irraparable loss.
