Tayyab Ali Dogar promoted Vice Admiral

Rear Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar was promoted to the rank of a Vice Admiral (a three-star general), according to a press release of Pakistan Navy. Vice Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar SI(M) was commissioned in the Operations Branch of Pakistan Navy on 1 Jun 1976. He did his staff course from Command & Staff College, Dhaka and earned his masters degree from National Defence University, Islamabad.

His naval career includes commands of two submarines and a Submarine Squadron. He has served as director of Submarine Operations, assistant chief of naval staff (Submarine Acquisition), Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) and Director General of Maritime Security Agency. He also held the appointments of Commandant of the National Security College and Flag Officer Sea Training. The Admiral is presently serving as Commander of the Coastal Command.

Tayyab Ali DogarĀ is from the 15th Entry, and on behalf of all Abdalians, we would like to extend our heartiest congratulations him on this well deserved promotion.

It seems to be a great website. The members directory is especially usefull for contacting other members. However would it not be more appropeiate if the directory is arranged in alphabetical order. it will then be easier to locate people (the search button is usefull if we remember the name correctly)
