Zartash Sakhi scores 1015 marks in F.Sc Pre-Med 2010 exams

Zartash Ahmed Sakhi made history in the 2010 F.Sc exmination, when he secured 1015 marks and got the first position amongst boys in the entire Rawalpindi Board. He stood overall 2nd in the entire Rawalpindi Board Intermediate examination 2010. He now has the honour to hold the CCH record for obtaining the highest marks in intermediate examinations, not to mention that he has become the first Abdalian in 56 years to score 1000+ marks in the Board.

Zartash Ahmed belongs to the 52nd entry (Haider Wing) and joined Cadet College Hasanabdal as a direct entrant in August 2008. He now wants to join the medical profession and hopefully by now would have been admitted into Army Medical College, the instiution that he always wanted to graduate from.

Zartash received a gold medal, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 from the Chairman of RBISE, Ch. Abdul Hafiz, in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. Till the publishing of this news, he has yet to receive the cash prize of Rs. 400,000 from the Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, as per his announcement for the position holders of F.Sc Board examinations.

Zartash was the best debater in senior classes for the year 2009-10. He has participated in  various "All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contests". He was also sent to Sri Lanka for 10 days by the Punjab goverment to participate in the International Scout Jamboree and 23rd J.J.P. Dehigama Memorial Orienteering Competition 2008.

He also has to his credit the All Pakistan Matric Award for getting the top position in matric exams 2008 conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education  Abbottabad, appearing from Cadet College Batrasi. He also earned All Pakistan Star Award from South Asia Publications for being amongst the top 20 students academic-wise in the entire country.
