CCH establishes an Endowment Fund

In a message published on Cadet College Hasanabdal's web site, the Principal, Maj. Gen. Najeeb Tariq has announced a creation of an Endowment Fund by the name and title of CCH Endowment Fund. Th Board of Governors of Cadet College has also given approval for setting up of this fund in one of its recent meetings. The basic capital of this fund shall not be touched and disbursements shall only be made from an approved percentage of the profits earned.
The amount of seed money required to set up the fund and from where this initial amount will come from has still not been announced. The Principal in his message has appealed to the Old Boy's, philanthropists and friends of education to generously donate towards the cause in order to help the Centre of Excellence, in a state of excellence. Tied donations, not forming part of the basic capital and meant for specific purposes can also be made by the donors.

CCH Endowment Fund is different from CCH Alumni Endowment Fund, which has been set up by HOBA. HOBA had set up a Scholarship Fund in previous years, which has since 20th June, 2013 been converted into CCH Alumni Endowment Fund. An announcement of this fund was made by HOBA Secretary General on Facebook on 6th July, 2013. The Association is still in the process of preparing and sending letters and "necessary material" which shall only be sent to registered members of HOBA. Information Memorandum of the fund has yet to be disseminated to Abdalians.
