Capt Asfandyar Bukhari awarded Tamgha-e-Jurat

Capt. Isfandyar Ahmed Bokhari Shaheed was awarded with one of the highest military awards of Pakistan Army "Tamgha-i-Jurrat" on 23rd March 2016 for his courageous act in the line of duty in the Badaber Operation Peshawar.

Capt Isfandyar, 11FF Regiment embraced martyrdom while fighting valiantly against the terrorists who attacked PAF airbase camp in Badaber area on Friday morning, 18th September 2015. The 27-year-old soldier was leading his troops from the front during the clearance operation. Captain Isfandyar Bukhari was wing commander of 48th Jinnah Wing Entry and had received Sword of Honour in 118th PMA Long Course and was awarded Tactics Medal as well.
