Abdalians Alumni Home launches Facebook Page

Abdalians Alumni Home launched its Facebook Page at 8 pm on Monday, 12th November, 2013. There are already many Groups and Pages on Facebook related to the Abdalian community, but this Page is different in the sense that it is open to all ex-Abdalian's and their friends and family members. The idea behind such an Open-Page is to bring the community closer and bridge the communication gap.
There are currently two main Facebook Groups, both closed-user groups, by the names of Abdalians and Cadet College Hasanabdal. Then, there are Pages owned by Cadet College Hasanabdal and Hasanabdal Old Boys Association and of course numerous other pages made by various Entries and individuals. The Abdalians Alumni Home Page, apart from interacting with fellow Abdalians may also be used to introduce and promote your businesses. In the day and age where social media has started to play a key role in information dissemination, this Page may prove useful to those who want to leverage upon unconventional means of marketing.
This page may be used for literally anything that people want to share, talk about and discuss, including business. The moderators, do although, request people not to use this Page for topics, for which there are other Abdalian Groups available on Facebook or start any discussion which is controversial in nature, pertaining to topics like Cadet College Hasanabdal, politics, religion etc. Please note that this is a Public Page, and the content is visible to anyone visiting it. Any posting on this Page will automatically be sent as a feed to the Abdalians Alumni Home website.
In less than 48 hours of the launch, the Page has attracted 249 Facebook Likes and reached an audience of 264 people. There are some people who have offered Abdalians certain discounts on their products and services. You may contact them directly for any inquiries that you may have.
