Dr. Afaq not allowed to withdraw from elections

Dr. Afaq Hussain

HOBA's website site a few days ago made an announcement that Dr. Afaq Hussain had withdrawn his nomination for the upcoming election of the President of Abdalians Association, which is due to be held on 13-Mar-2011. Surprisingly, the announcement has been reversed and the news on the official web site has also been taken off. Instead, another "notification" has been published on the website saying that Dr. Afaq's withdrawal has not been accepted by the "Screwtiny Committee".

According to the notice published on the site, Dr. Afaq Hussain's name will be printed in the "ballet" paper. This election surely seems to be a ballet and not a ballot!
