It is with deep sorrow that we have learnt of the sad demise today of Aamir Ashraf Khawaja's father in Lahore. May Allah bless the departed soul and give him His choicest place in Heavens and give the family the courage to bear this loss. Aamir Ashraf belongs to the 22nd Entry (1975-80) and was in Haider Wing.

The Head of Computer Department at Cadet College Hasanabdal, Amir Rauf, is the second Abdalian to join the faculty at the College. The first person to join the faculty only stayed for a short while. Amir, however is now in his sixth year of his assignment, having joined in 2000. Capt Atiq was an another Abdalian, though not on the faculty, but was the Adjutant till recently.
Amir belongs to the 31st Entry and was in Haider Wing. Good luck Amir! We will look forward to your contributions to this site, in the form of updating all of us on what is happening at Cadet College.

It is with profound grief that we have learnt about the sad demise of Maj. Gen. Javed Iqbal's mother last week. Our condolences go out to Gen. Javed, with our prayers that may Allah give him and his family the courage to bear this great loss and may He bless the departed soul. Her funeral was held in Islamabad last week amidst a large number of Abdalians, friends and family.
Gen. Javed belongs to the 13th Entry and is currently serving in GHQ Rawalpindi.

The Government of Pakistan on 8th April, 2004 issued a Rs. 4/- stamp to commemorate the golden jubilee celebrations of Cadet College Hasanabdal. The stamp bears the picture of the front of the academic block. First day covers were also printed, however many Abdalians could not get them at the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

It is with profound grief that we wish to inform you about the sad demise of Mujahid Khurshid's father in the early hours of 25th June, 2010 in Lahore. Our prayers go out to Mujahid Khurshid and his family along with our prayers that may Allah give them the courage to bear this great loss and may He give the departed soul His choicest of places in Heavens. His namaz-e-janaz was offered on 25th June at Jamia Ashrafia after Juma prayers.
A larger number of people from different walks of life were present at the funeral, including a lot Abdalians as well. Mujahid belongs to the 17th Entry (Jinnah Wing) and may be contacted on his cell at 033-847-2171.
