Abdalians Alumni Home

Annual Function held at Air Force Mess

The Annual Dinner and Music Function was held at the PAF Officers Mess, PAF Complex, Sector E-9,Islamabad on 31st May, 2003.

The function was very well attended by a cross-section of entries starting from the 1st to the 44th entry. Specially prepared food from Peshawar was liked by all who attended. Many Abdalians were meeting friends after a long time and it could be visibly seen that the ladies were most of the time looking for their husbands. Of course they knew that they had to give up soon and enjoy the music instead!

The musical evening started around 10:30pm. Farid Khan from Karachi and Naghmana Jaffry from Lahore were the main performers. Capt. (Retd) Nayyar Islam also performed by singing a few songs reliving the last annual function.

Annual General Meeting at Hasanabdal

Registration at Basketball Court No. 1The Annual General Meeting of the Abdalians' Association and the annual re-union was held on Sunday, 21st January, 2007. This meeting was initially scheduled to be held in December 2006, but had to be delayed on the request of the College administration on account of cadets taking their exams then.

This time around the registration activity took place in Basketball Court No. 1, instead of the usual lawns between the education block and the staff room. The cadets of all six wings had lined up the desks and were busy writing name cards of the old boy's and pinning them on the chests with the usual common pins. Nice biscuits along with tea and coffee was being served on one side, where some old boys were found doing "doubling" in order to revive old memories.
