Zartash Sakhi scores 1015 marks in F.Sc Pre-Med 2010 exams

Zartash Ahmed Sakhi made history in the 2010 F.Sc exmination, when he secured 1015 marks and got the first position amongst boys in the entire Rawalpindi Board. He stood overall 2nd in the entire Rawalpindi Board Intermediate examination 2010. He now has the honour to hold the CCH record for obtaining the highest marks in intermediate examinations, not to mention that he has become the first Abdalian in 56 years to score 1000+ marks in the Board. Zartash Ahmed belongs to the 52nd entry (Haider Wing) and joined Cadet College Hasanabdal as a direct entrant in August 2008. He now wants to join the medical profession and hopefully by now would have been admitted into Army Medical College, the instiution that he always wanted to graduate from.

Hasan Iftikhar (A/43) gets married

Hasan Iftikhar (Aurangzeb Wing - 43rd Entry) got married to Hania on 15th December 2008. Has was the Wing Commander of Aurangzeb Wing and is currently working in Dubai in the telecom sector.

His wedding turned out to be a mini get together in PC Rawalpindi as Abdalians from Lahore, Karachi and as far as UK had flown in to attend the function. Professor Abdul Qudus Saggu, the ever favourite and loved housemaster of the Zebites (currently DVP Coordination) was also present, along with his son Ali Saggu (Aurangzeb wing). We wish Hasan and the bride a very happy and prosperous future.

Imran Majeed promoted as Lt. General and appointed Surgeon General

Major General Syed Imran Majeed was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed Surgeon General Pakistan Army.

Gen Imran is a very competent and highly professional doctor, and is regarded as the pioneer in cardiac electrophysiology at the national level and his services have been duly acknowledged in this field. He has been Commandant Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) and presently posted at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi. He shall be taking charge of his new office on Monday 11th May, 2015 in very difficult times due to the military being actively involved in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He will be taking the charge from Lt. Gen. Azhar Rashid, who belongs to the 14th Entry. We pray that may Allah guide him whilst he discharges his duties in the service of Pakistan.

Lt. Gen. Imran Majeed belongs to the 18th Entry and while we congratulate him and his family at his very well deserved promotion, we wish him all the best and more successes in life. His elder brother Dr. Kamran Majeed is also from Cadet College Hasanabdal (17th Entry) and is currently heading KRL Hospital.

Usama Zafar (A/43) gets married

Usama Bin Zafar (Aurangzeb Wing - 43rd entry) got married to Dr.Sitwat Mahmud on the 28th November 2008. Sitwat is a graduate from Rawalpindi Medical College, while Usama is an Accountant by profession. Usama is Professor S. M. A. Bokari's grandson and Zafar Bokahri's son who also happens to be an Abdalian. Accordingly, three generations of Abdalians were present at the function in Islamabad, including Bokhari Sb. The Bride is the youngest sibling of Azhar Mahmud Pasha MD USA (Section Commander, Omer wing, 30th entry). We wish Usama and Sitwat a very happy and prosperous future.
